What is a joint payment account and how does it work?

A joint payment account is a payment account opened in the name of 2 or more people, on/from which each co-holder can deposit/withdraw money.

Opening a joint payment account is similar to opening a regular payment account, except that the holder title has to be set to joint account (when the account is created through the API, <clientTitle> = T).

Moving a joint payment account to the KYC2 status requires the provision of the below documents:
• Valid proof of ID for each co-holder
• Proof of address less than three months old in the name of all co-holders
• Bank statement of the joint bank account (for Money-Out requests)

For more info on the documents to be provided, just take a look at the dedicated topic
