Step 02 - What is the payment flow scheme applicable to my activity type?

The applicable payment flow scheme depends on your activity type.

We strongly suggest you to integrate our solutions in your test environment based on the below payment schemes, as your production environment will be set up using the corresponding/applicable payment schemes.

MARKETPLACE (SERVICES/eCOMMERCE)
MARKETPLACE.png

You need to create a client technical account (External ID = MARKETPLACE/Status 16 - Technical) in your LW test environment. This technical account will receive all incoming payments from your end users before you can dispatch them - P2P - onto the payment account of the concerned merchant (s).

The most common steps for this type of activity are:
Create a payment account for each merchant

• Get the end-user Money-In on the technical account
• Transfer - P2P - the funds received on the technical account onto the client payment account of each concerned merchant
• Transfer - Money-Out - collected funds from the client payment account of the merchant onto the bank account of the merchant

If you are using a CMS (Magento, Prestashop, Wordpress), and are integrating through our plugins, you’ll have to specify the URL of your sandbox, API username & password, as well as the client technical account external ID (MARKETPLACE).

MONEY POT (GIFT LIST, WEDDING)
GIFT-WEDDING.png

You do not need to create a payment account per donor.

The most common steps for this type of activity are:
Create a payment account for each money pot

• Get the end-user Money-In on the money pot payment account
• Transfer - Money-Out - collected funds from the money pot payment account onto the bank account of the money pot beneficiary

DONATION/REWARD CROWDFUNDING

CROWDLENDING/EQUITY CROWDFUNDING

[3D Secure is activated by default on LW production environments for card payments for Crowdlending/Crowdinvesting-based activities]

The most common steps for this type of activity are:
• Create a payment account for the project/borrower as well as for each investor/lender

• Get the Money-In on the payment account of the investor/lender
• Transfer - P2P - the funds received on the investor/lender payment account onto the project/borrower payment account
• Transfer - Money-Out - collected funds from the project/borrower payment account onto the project/borrower bank account

PAYBACK.png

The repayment (when applicable) works as follow:
• The project/borrower credits his/her payment account through a Money-In - usually by bank transfer or Sepa Direct Debit

• The repayment is transferred - P2P - from the project/borrower payment account onto the payment account of each concerned lender/investor
• The repayment is transferred - Money-Out - from the payment account of the lender/investor onto the bank account of the lender/investor

CROWDFACTORING/INVOICE TRADING
FACTORING.png

You need to create a client technical account (External ID = FACTORING/Status 16 - Technical) in your LW test environment. This technical account will receive all invoice repayments from debtors.

The most common steps for this type of activity are:
• Create a payment account for the creditor as well as for each investor

• Get the Money-In on the payment account of the investor
• Transfer - P2P - the funds received on the investor payment account onto the creditor payment account
• Transfer - Money-Out - collected funds from the creditor payment account onto the bank account of the creditor

The repayment of invoices from debtors works as follow:
• The debtor credits the factoring technical account through a Money-In - by bank transfer, using the "NAMEOFYOURENVIRONMENT-FACTORING COMMENT" description

• Using the above comment (a unique invoice identifier per transaction provided to you by the debtor), the repayment is transferred - P2P - from the factoring technical account onto the payment account of the concerned investor
• The repayment is transferred - Money-Out - from the investor payment account onto the investor bank account

eCOMMERCE
E-COMMERCE.png

You need to create a client technical account (External ID = ECOMMERCE/Status 16 - Technical) in your LW test environment.

The most common steps for this type of activity are:
• Get the Money-In on the technical account (specify <amountCom> = <amountTot>, so that the funds are automatically transferred onto your merchant payment account)

• Transfer - Money-Out - collected funds from your merchant payment account onto your bank account

If you are using a CMS (Magento, Prestashop, Wordpress), and are integrating through our plugins, you’ll have to specify the URL of your sandbox, the API username & password, as well as the client technical account external ID (ECOMMERCE).
