It is important to understand the cause of a card chargeback.
A card chargeback is usually due to one of the following 3 reasons:
• Credit card fraud. A card has been cloned and used to make purchases on your website
• The reference on your customer’s bank statement does not match your website. By default, the name of the operation on your customer’s bank statement will be LEMONWAY.COM/EC. This could therefore be due to your customer not making the connection between the purchase and the transaction as it appears on their statement (your clients can find out who they paid to thanks to our online card payment lookup, which can be accessed directly from WWW.LEMONWAY.COM/EC)
• You have charged a customer without his/her permission or without having clearly defined the amount or debit date
