Landing page
Your end user will be redirected to your custom branded onboarding page, so to the user the experience will be seamless. There are three steps in the onboarding journey.
User Details
- User Details refer to the various categories of personal and professional information collected during processes such as account creation, onboarding, or Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. These details are crucial for understanding and verifying the identity, background, and risk factors associated with an individual.
Key elements include:
-
- Personal Information: Basic identity details such as name, date of birth, and nationality.
- Contact Address, Email, Phone: The physical address where the individual resides or receives correspondence, a valid email address and phone number.
- Occupation: Information regarding the individual's job, profession, or business.
- Financial Situation: Data on income, assets, liabilities, and overall financial health.
- Political Exposure: Whether the individual is a Politically Exposed Person (PEP), which could indicate a higher risk of involvement in corruption.
- Legal Exposure: Any legal proceedings associated with the individual.
- Project: For Crowdfunding activities only. Specific details related to the project created on your platform.
User Identity
At this stage, users on a desktop computer will be prompted to scan a QR code displayed on their screen and continue the onboarding identity process on their phone. This is required, because most phones are equipped with cameras, which are necessary for "live" identification. See: [Identity Validation](https://documentation.lemonway.com/docs/identify-validation#kycknow-your-customer).
- User Identity refers to attributes, data and credentials that identifies an individual. This includes personal details such as name, address, date of birth, and contact information, as well as authentication factors like passwords, biometric data, or identity documents.
Verifications
This section allows Lemonway to verify all your given information for the KYC (Know Your Customer) process. It involves confirming an end-user's identity, ensuring compliance, and reducing risk:
- Identity Verification: Confirming identity using government-issued IDs or biometrics.
- Sanction and PEP Screening: Checking against global sanctions lists and identifying politically exposed persons.
- AML and Fraud Checks: Screening for financial crime history.
